- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on CNC machines and automation systems on-site across West Coast in a timely and efficient manner
- Install, commission, and test CNC machines and associated automation equipment at customer facilities
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance, minimize downtime, and maximize productivity
- Conduct machine demonstrations and provide technical expertise during customer visits
- Accurately document all service activities, including parts used, labor time, and any technical issues encountered
- Provide remote and telephone support to customers for troubleshooting and technical guidance
CNC Field Service Engineer
Your mission
Your profile
- min. 3-5 years experience as a Field Service Engineer/Technician in the CNC or machine tool industry
- Strong skills in diagnosing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and CNC issues
- Solid CNC milling knowledge; Heidenhain experience is a plus
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to travel up to 75% domestically
