Your mission
As a Operations Manager, you are responsible for overseeing and coordinating the technical activities of Kern Precision Inc. (KPI). This includes planning and directing projects, managing resources, and ensuring that technical solutions are implemented effectively. You may also be involved in budgeting, hiring, and training staff, as well as collaborating with the Headquarter in Germany to ensure that technical systems are integrated and aligned with organizational goals. Overall, you are playing a crucial role in ensuring that the team delivers high-quality technical solutions that meet the needs of the organization and exceeds its customers expectation.

Job description:
You will manage a team of technical professionals and work closely with other departments such as sales and finance to ensure the smooth functioning of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement service standards and procedures to ensure optimal performance of equipment and processes including Application development support and operator training
  • Setting up and maintaining the service desk
  • Develop lasting customer relationships and improving response and delivery times
  • Lead and manage a team of technical professionals, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including production, engineering, and quality control, to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Conduct regular assessments of equipment and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and making recommendations for upgrades or modifications.
  • Manage budgets and resources, ensuring that technical operations are cost-effective and efficient.
  • Strong communication with customers and coordination of larger scale projects, quality management and surveying the customer experience with KPI. 
  • Creating detailed reports and metrics to measure the efficiency of the organization and customer satisfaction.
Your profile
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Manager or similar role in an industrial setting.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of industrial equipment (machine tool industry) and processes.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.
